The Fabled Conduit carries the pulse of dialog between Dana Carter and Paula Wilson across a great distance. Defiant of quantifiable time and adequate documentation, the ebb and flow of ideas exchanged exist as a live un-archived collection of expressions, ephemera, experimental classes, dance moves, studio visits and unreachable dreams stated aloud. This rocky-river-bed is cut by the trace gestures of friendship including travel by ground, air, mail, digital communication, longing and chance encounters and it floods during the rainy season.
